The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) has committed the majority of the funding for the project, but to make our full vision a reality, our School Council has committed to raising an additional $15,500—and we need your help to get there!
Current
While it has served generations of Bruce students well, our current schoolyard is in desperate need of a full overhaul. The current schoolyard is a patchwork of cracked asphalt and uneven dirt, with minimal tree cover and faded lines, barely visible after all these years. When it rains, deep puddles form in the low-lying areas, turning parts of the yard into a muddy swamp known as ‘Bruce Lake’. The area lacks sufficient seating for students and teachers, as well as outdoor learning spaces and modern recreational equipment.
